Does Crafty Caps direct print?
No! We are able to offer such low discounted pricing because we do NOT direct or screen print. After a design is approved, it is printed on laminate sheets, die cut
with a specialized 25mm punch and hand sealed with acid-free, water resistant, gloss
sealant to the top of your desired color cap. We
DO NOT directly print, screen print or use epoxy dome seals.
What is the best size photo, .jpg, or logo to send for my personalized design?
You have to remember these designs are being produced in a 1.02" diameter circle, try to stay away from a lot of words or intricate designs that may be distorted after being re-sized to fit the caps. The 0.02" is a bleed allowance and will not show up on your cap. We suggest 300px or more. Please do not upload or email PDF images. We CAN use them, however,
the design may not be as clear as it would be if we had an image file.
Can I design my own image?YES! Feel free to design your own image and
email it to us! We will let you know if we need changes made before processing your design. We suggest a 1.02" diameter circle, 300px or more. If you have designed your image as a PSD file, that is the best type of file to email to us. Otherwise, any image file should work. Please do not upload or email PDF images. We CAN use them, however, the design may not be as clear as it would be if we had an image file. If you would like a template, don't hesitate to ask!

to us. Possible reasons for this could be copyrighted material, past
orders and/or contract violations.**
How are the caps sealed?
After a design is approved, it is printed on laminate sheets, die cut
with a specialized 25mm punch and hand sealed with acid-free, water resistant, gloss
sealant to the top of your desired color cap. We
DO NOT directly print, screen print or use epoxy dome seals.
*Note: Crafty Caps LLC bottle caps are laminated caps, not direct printed.
Will the designs be harmed if I boil my caps? How can I sterilize my caps?
YES! Due to the manufacturing process, these caps CAN
NOT be boiled! Please read all sterilizing tips before trying any sterilizing options. Crafty Caps LLC is not responsible for designed caps that have damage because they have been boiled.

I just placed an order, when should I expect it to ship? Will I receive tracking information?Our general lead time is 1-2 weeks, longer for larger quantities or heavy traffic months. If you would like an estimated ship date for a current order or specific quantity before ordering, please feel free to

What types of caps can I order through your site?
There are two types of caps - conventional caps and oxygen absorbing caps. The latter have an oxygen absorbing material that is activated when the cap gets wet. This helps to absorb any remaining oxygen left at the top of the bottle preserving the beer a little longer (in theory). Currently we only offer oxy-caps in GOLD.
In the SHOP I see custom painted caps, can these be used for brewing?No! Any colored option that says "NFB" is "Not For Brewing". These caps are custom painted, but NOT sandblasted. This means that the paint could chip or tear during "crimping". The custom painted cap colors are only for crafts or jewelry. NFB colors include, but are not limited to: candy pink, blue sky, lime green, watermelon, colonial red, french lilac, grape, and leafy green.
Can I send a check or money order?
YES! However, orders paid by check will not ship until funds have cleared. Please feel free to send us a check or money order, along with a written description of your desired order.
